Need to navigate to following folder
with Classic Start Menu quite frequently:

C:\Users\MYNAME\AppData\Roaming

Windows 8.1:

When clicking Start > This PC > (C:) > Users > MYNAME >

AppData is not visible, how can i make it visible
to continue browsing to AppData sub-folders?

Thanks in advance for any info,

ff

you dont actually need classic shell for this, look on the view tab, for a checkbox that says hidden (I believe thats where it is, I dont have the w8 toolbar anymore)

Also you can type the name in the address bar and you can get into that folder even though it is hidden.

You can also use the environment variable %Appdata% to add the folder to the Start Menu even if it's hidden. Either drag and drop %Appdata% into the Start Menu or create a custom command that links to %Appdata%.
