Hello Ivo,

Hope all is well. There is an issue with PaperPort 14 when you pass your mouse over the Windows Context Menu when in scanning mode. I checked Nuance's support and found this:

http://nuance.custhelp.com/app/answers/ ... u-from-the

Please advise if this is a known issue in Classic Shell and if you will be providing a fix

Thank you and have a good day... Mark.

That article mentions the app called "Eraser". This issue is not caused by Classic Shell, at least it does not look like that.

Eraser is just one example Nuance gives. Before citing Eraser the article states:

"There is a conflict between PaperPort and a third party application's add-in that has modified the Windows Context Menu"

OK. Let's troubleshoot. Where are you right clicking, as in which context menu? Do you have any other reason to believe (other than that article) or some evidence that your issue is caused by Classic Shell? :)

Hello Gaurav,

Ok, let's start with a Screen Shot, Please see attached.

I have an Acer Laptop Aspire V3-572G-76EM Intel Core i7 5500U with Windows 8.1

All you have to do is pass the mouse over the selection and it crashes. This happens when I right click on a scanned document to print

I am not positive but I believe the error started happening right after I updated to the latest version of Classic Shell.

Thank you... Mark.

Follow the instructions here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6 to capture a crash dump. Ivo can analyze it to determine if Classic Shell is the cause of the crash.
