I am wondering if anyone has experienced this. I installed Classic Shell on a windows 8 64bit computer. It was not updated yet to service pack 8.1 The windows 8 system is setup to use windows live login. I logged in as normal using the live ID I installed Classic Shell I rebooted I tried to login again and I am getting invalid password. I double checked, triple checked, it is the same password I have always used. I tried using the onscreen keyboard to make sure the keyboard wasn't malfunctioning - still nothing I logged into safe mode and was able to get to an administrator command prompt - my password worked here (this is a local account password) Rebooted tried again to login still giving me the same error I went to Microsoft's live sign in assistance and reset the password (just for the heck of it).. I then tried to login again still no dice. This did not happen until I installed Classic Shell. I was finally able to login once I did a system restore prior to Classic Shell My live login ID then resumed working again. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem using the Windows Live Sign in for Windows 8 with the original release of Windows 8.
