Hello:

I just noticed an error in one of your messages. On the 'Classic Start Menu', 'Menu Look', if the size of the icons is changed, a small message box appears stating 'Right-click on the start button and select "Exit".' See attached.

Now that Windows 10 uses the right click on the start button to allow many other options, there is no "Exit" button!

Are there any alternatives to "Signing Out"?

Thanks in advance.

Sparky

You need to use the Classic Start Menu's context menu. By default it is on a right-click, but through settings it can be changed to Shift+Right-click.

But yes, signing out will also work because the menu will be restarted.

Hello, Ivo:

Here's my 'Context Menu' but I don't see the choice you mention.

No, you either right-click on the start button or shift+right-click on the start button.
The setting which menu you get with right-click or shift+right-click is near the bottom of the Controls tab - first row, second tab in your picture.

Hello, again, Ivo:

Many thanks - the 'clue bird has finally landed'! I haven't used the shift-click button combination! A whole new world opens!

I also find that right-shift and left-shift clicking work the same! At least they do for me! Are they supposed to?

Yes, both shifts work.
