Classic Shell: Forum

On windows 7/8 (with start8) I pinned LibreOffice Calc to my start menu and then had recently used files slide out to the right when I hovered over it. Here is a picture with an example. Note the arrow next to Calc. I can't seem to make this happen with Classic Shell. Is this a setting I need to enable that I missed? Maybe it's called something else and I'm glossing over it. Not sure if this is possible but it would be nice to have. (Sorry, forgot to mention I'm using Windows 10)

What version of Windows do you have and what version of Classic Shell?

On which OS are you running Classic Shell? You need to make sure jump lists are enabled in your Start Menu. In Classic Start Menu settings, go to Main Menu tab and make sure "Enable jumplists" option is enabled.

You also need jumplists turned on at the operating system level. For Windows 7/8, they can be enabled by right clicking Taskbar -> Properties -> Start Menu/Jumplists tab. On Windows 10, the setting for it is in Settings app -> Personalization -> Start. "Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or the taskbar".

After this, you need to open a few documents with the program to see them in the flyout arrow.
