Hi, I recently updated to Win10 and have customised my settings to show my control panel with auto expand using “Settings/Special Items/Control Panel/Display as menu”. Great!
The Control Panel menu now auto expands to one long column sub menu where I need to scroll to get to some of the items. I tried to change to multiple columns using “Settings/General Behaviour/Multiple Columns in sub menu” but that did not work.
I have looked through all the settings but I can’t see any other adjustments.
I would appreciate any ideas.

Go to Customize Start Menu tab in Start menu settings and double click the icon of the Control Panel icon. Check the option "Multi-column" and click OK to save settings.
