I just wanted to see if this was expected behavior of Classic Start Menu. It appears to be the same in the Beta and the regular 4.x versions.

All I get is a rolling 10 items in the recent document jump list. If I open a new document from the menu then the bottom recently opened document rolls off the list. See the Actual one on the left and the desired one on the right. With 45 as the number of recent items I should be able to fill the menu and not have them roll off the menu after 10.

I have set the number of recent items on the Taskbar and Navigation properties to 45. I have also checked both boxes for storing and displaying the jump list as well.

Could you confirm this is the standard behavior or provide me with the place to make adjustments. I have been unable to find such a setting but I may have overlooked it. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

This is not a jumplist. This is the recent programs list. The jumplist is the list of documents you get after you click on the arrow for let's say "Excel 2013".

To control the number of items in the recent programs list use the "Max recent programs" setting. To control the number of items in the jumplist use the "Max items in jumplists" setting. Both are in the start menu settings, not in the Taskbar settings.
