Hi,

I find that when I'm using a hybrid laptop, I would like to use the Start Screen in tablet mode while Start Menu mode in laptop mode. It would be very nice to add an option to Place the Start Button next to Windows 8.1 start button. That way I can select either one.

Also, another feature is "View All Apps" mode.

Thanks.

Classic Start Menu has command line arguments to open the menu you want.
To open the Start Menu: "C:\Program Files\Classic Shell\ClassicStartMenu.exe" -open
To open the Start screen: "C:\Program Files\Classic Shell\ClassicStartMenu.exe" -togglenew

So you can create a shortcut to any of these and pin the shortcut to the Taskbar as the first icon, next to the Start button.

You can also Shift+click the Start button or press Shift+Win key to avoid creating a shortcut on the Taskbar and save space.

If you are using the Windows 7 style of the menu, open Start Menu Settings and go to the Main Menu tab. Set "All Programs style" to "Inside Start Menu". If you check "Open automatically", then All Programs will be shown automatically in the Main menu when you click the Start button.
