In Explorer, I've chosen to show the preview pane of graphic files, and I turn it off for other files. I don't know if that's the same setting for thumbnails on the desktop, but I don't want thumbnails there because they're too small to use anyway. My attachment shows 3 of these files. Does CS have a setting for going back to icon view on the desktop? Haven't found anything yet.

I dont think its desktop specific though, so it would apply in windows explorer too

She has the opposite problem, wants the thumbnail on the desktop. People with straight hair want curly hair, and people with curly hair...

Meh, I'll get used to it. Win7 and I will be living together a long time.
