On Windows 7, the Up button is added to Explorer by Classic Explorer. On Windows 8/8.1/10, Microsoft added it back themselves but forgot the Ctrl+click function. While the idea is good, no one is going to modify their app installer for Classic Shell because after all, it is a third-party product, not something made by Microsoft and integrated into the Windows OS. |

If the remote computer has many tasks set to run at logon or startup, I think it's normal if some of them are stealing focus as you just log in to your session. Just wait for a few seconds. You can install Classic Shell at any time after Windows 10 is installed. I also use 7+ Taskbar Tweaker so it just might be a particular setting in it that causes this. If you can find it, let us know and let the developer of 7+TT also know about it. P.S. I think you may have checked "Hide the Start button" option in 7+TT. That will obviously cause this behavior... |

Go to General Behavior tab in Start menu Settings and uncheck the option "All columns are same size". See if that makes the 4 columns of the submenu fit besides the main menu. Or you can hold down the Shift key before/while expanding the Programs item to expand it as a single column scroll... |

That is a Windows 8.1 limitation. The Desktop is not part of Classic Shell and the shortcuts are also created by Windows, not Classic Shell. If you can open Task Manager or any app which allows the Open dialog of Explorer to be loaded, you can use copy-paste.

Classic Shell does NOT do any permanent modification to Windows. In fact, its modifications are all in-memory and as soon as it is unloaded, Windows reverts to its default behavior. So whatever broke in your Windows - you can be 101% sure it is not Classic Shell. |

As I said earlier, Classic Shell did not break your Camera app - something else did that happened at the same time as when you installed Classic Shell but you are not believing that. The only process that Classic Shell affects is Explorer.exe. |

Yeah any faint colored taskbar is harder on my eyes too. Plus they made all the stupid tray icons white and you can't easily change them. That's why XP embedded taskbar texture+your lovely Plex Replay7 skin is my winning combo. |
