Hello,

I have the latest Classic Shell installed on Windows 10 Creators update 15063 using the Windows 7 start menu.

The Default location for my music was c:\users\tanya\my music but I have all of my music on a server because we have 100gb of music, and it's shared for the whole family.

So using right click on My Music from the start menu I clicked the location tab and specified P:\ as the location of my music, which is a mapped drive I had connected earlier.

All seemed fine; I click on My Music and it opens my music drive. Until I reboot.

After the reboot My Music on the start menu changed to P:\

On the next reboot after that it changed to <No Text>, which it now persists with.

EDIT: Also, clicking on it does nothing now.

Any ideas on how to fix?

thanks
Tanya

Right click the Start button -> Settings. Open Classic Start Menu Settings and go to the Customize Start Menu tab.

Double click the ICON of the Music folder. Erase everything from the "Command" field and then press Tab key on the keyboard.

Now in the "Link" text field, type:

P:\

For the Label, you can type whatever name you wish for it to appear as. You can also assign a custom icon if you want.

Thanks for your reply.

That seems to work.
