Can anybody help please, in Windows 10 I want to get rid of the Windows accessories, windows ease of access, windows system etc folders on the classic start menu (actually I want to rename them to Accessories, Ease of Access, System etc without the Windows prefix). I have tried opening the default location and moving the folders to the desktop, then deleting all the desktop.ini files, but I am unable to move the Windows Ease of Access Folder, even if I rename it, it goes back to the default name. In fact all the folders occasionally go back to their default names randomly. Also I keep losing the content of the folders and have to either manually recreate them or reinstall to get them back. This is driving me mad, why do MS insist on such crap! surely there must be an easier way to do this, I simply want to move the folders to where I would like them and rename them to what I want, but whatever I try they keep going back, can someone please post a step by step as I am sure that this MUST have an answer.

You can try changing the folder properties to make it "hidden". Keep in mind that many of the system folders exist in pairs, one for all users and one for the current user. So there may be two folders you need to update.

Hiding them is not an option, I want to show all hidden files. Also this is for the WINDOWS ACCESSORIES, WINDOWS EASE of ACCESS etc, they are stored under program data, not user folders. Is it possible for someone to do a step by step please, I want to rename the folders and drag them to new locations.

Why is it not an option? Try it, maybe it will do what you want.
