Hi

I love classic shell and have donated in the past because of its value to me. I have a high level of disability and cannot use a mouse. I use keyboard shortcuts everywhere that I can. Prior to the update for Windows 10 compatibility I was able to use control plus the letter for the various application shortcuts that I place directly on the primary menu, just above programs. This included applications that began with the letter S and the letter C. However now when I use control+S and control + C, these keyboard sequences open up the settings submenu rather than the application beginning with S or C. Is there any way to amend the updated classic shell regarding this?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Eugene

Probably you mean Alt+letter not Ctrl. There was a change made in Classic Shell 4.3.0 where underlined letters (accelerators explicitly defined by an ampersand character in their Name/Label) take precedence over regular accelerators. But many users have complained about this change so we understand it causes you an issue too. You can revert to Classic Shell 4.2.5 for now to get around it.
