Hey Guys,

I recently updated to the new build and it seems my icons in the start menu are all blank. I can click the programs and open them, but the icons remain blank, I also have blank icons when I click the start menu then control panel.

I have tried going into the %APPDATA% and deleted the IconCache file, then logging off and back on, tried running the program as admin, rand a script to rebuild my icon cache, deleted old icon cache, uninstalled and reinstalled Classic Start Menu, all to no avail.

The Icons show fine in Windows so I know the problem is not local to my Windows Install, the issue lies somewhere with the Classic Start Menu Program or so I believe.

I attached the log to the post, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try deleting %localappdata%\ClassicShell\Datacache.db and exit and restart the menu (note: not %appdata% but %localappdata%).

Deleting the file won't do anything by itself.
You need to exit the start menu first - right-click on the start button, then Exit.
Then delete the file.
Then restart the menu.
