I tried using this and it doesn't work, plus the hacker is incompatible with newer version of win 7.

Instead look for a program called 'Windows 7 Command Bar Tweaker'

It has GUI and will allow you to easily auto-hide, perma-hide, or restore and works on all version of win 7.

i tried. but after rebooting. didnt work. and the app failed to "restore". tx anyway
