Hi, we have a client that need to use our Windows 8 app ExpressThermo (bit.ly/et-win8). Our client OS is Windows 8.1 Pro. He has your Classic Shell version 4.1.0 installed.
Everything on that app works well (as it is suppose to), except for one feature in particular, which is to view a log report. It just don't navigate to the expected page and block the entire app, forcing user to close app to exit from that screen.
Please watch this vĂdeo to see what is expect to happen: http://youtu.be/M1fpvzg0Q1U?list=PLNVEP ... P6Mtcllg5l
For you to be able to reproduce this potencial bug, you'll need to install ExpressThermo app (it's free), and try to view a report.
These are the steps to reproduce:
After installing app and running it, open file (which I attached), right click to expose bottom bar and click on "Report" button, on dialog window just leave default options and click on "View Report". This should open a new page where you were suppose to see a report.

We confirmed that this behavior is related to Classic Shell, because without it, the app work as expected!

Could you please take a look into this!?
Thanks.

Classic Shell should not interfere with the operation of Metro apps.
Since this is an app you are developing, can you step through it with a debugger and see what is failing?
