screenshot of start menu

I'm using Win 10 Creators edition and am getting strange orange bars over the folders in the start menu

Can someone tell me how to correct this?

Thanks very much,

Auggie

Hi, There. These Programs are newly installed programs and are thus Highlighted. Either Open every Program one by one or Uncheck the "Highlight Newly Installed Programs" Option in the "General Behaviour" Tab of Classic Shell Menu Settings.

If you don't want to entirely turn off newly installed program highlighting, you can right click an individual program item or its parent folder in the Start Menu and choose "Remove highlight". Also, you can right click the Programs folder itself and choose Remove highlight to do it for all items inside it.
