I have just updated Classic Start Menu from 4.2.5 to 4.3.0 running on Windows 8.1 but once complete I noticed it now is missing some icons from only the start menu when the skin is set to <No Skin>.

Checked the forums and followed the guides on deleting DataCache.db, logging out then back in and trying it again as Admin but still the same.

Are you saying that when you change the skin to something else the icons appear again?

Yes <No skin> seems to not show icons in Classic Shell 4.3.0. If you use Classic skin, you can get them back.

Indeed only <No skin> has missing icons from the main start menu section, all the others show then fine.

I added it to the list of things to investigate for the next version.
In the meantime, use the Classic Skin with small icons and no caption. It should look very similar to <no skin>.

I join You coz for a week or two (didn't have time to write about it) have the same problem.
Icons exist where they should be, Apps Settings shows them, but there are not shown in Start Menu:

There is a known bug, where some icons don't show when <No Skin> is selected. Use the Classic skin, which looks very similar after you remove the caption.

Thanks.
However before i tried it i checked few things and what surprised me was that when I moved Programs menu all the icons were shown:
It's like the Programs menu was some border for icons - upper menus had them, lower - don't...
