Checking the transparent option in customize taskbar and setting the opacity to 0 or anything else doesn't do anything for me. Help

Few things:
1) Opacity can't be negative. It is between 0 and 100
2) You are using version 4.2.5. Try the latest beta 4.2.7. It has many improvements to the taskbar skinning
3) You are using some sort of third-party theme. It may be interfering with Classic Shell. Try disabling it temporarily to see if it is related

3)I do have 2 other program (system transparency and glass2k), but i disabled them and restarted and still nothing.

Why is the settings window in your screenshot black? That indicates to me that you are using a custom theme.
