Win10 Pro domain joined.

When a new user logins to the workstation, the start menu is filled with some recent programs that I don't know where they come from.

Problem is that I removed all metro apps, so I'm getting shortcuts that are not working.

Example :

How I can either make this list empty by default (but still working when users will start using programs) ? Or even better, pre-load it with some items ?

I tried to export/import the key HKCU\Software\Ivosoft to Default user but still no luck.

How have you removed the apps? Using Classic Start Menu or using PowerShell? Metro apps are installed for individual user accounts. You could try removing them for all users: http://winaero.com/blog/how-to-remove-a ... indows-10/ The command you need in PowerShell is:

Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage

Yes, I removed them from the WIM image using this command.

It's just the shortcut showing there, apps are not installed/working when I click on any of these icons.

Edit : Actually I'm not sure I've added the -AllUsers switch when removing apps, gonna try again.

The frequently used programs are stored here:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\UserAssist
