Probably not in the pipeline but just curious if there are plans to ever give classic shell the default windows 10 start menu animation?

Ok maybe the built in one is overly complex with each menu item zooming in but maybe the overall start menu sliding up and fading might be possible.

Yeah I know this is a pipe dream.

You can get a slide and fade animation if you use the Classic style.
With Windows 7 style, animation is not possible because it contains two independent pieces - the main menu and the user picture. Animating them together in sync is tricky.

Classic Shell 4.3.0's Start Menu supports fade, slide and random animations also in Windows 7 style.
