I had the Classic Shell on my computer for a long time and all of a sudden it disappeared from the start button and I tried to install it again and each and every time I did....I got a error message saying it was corrupt and I tried several places and I finally got the Classic 8....it is okay but I liked the other one better but can not get it back & now the place where the Classic Shell was is a windows icon which when clicked on brings up the apps page. which I hate....So I then when into my control panel to my programs & tried to uninstall the older one and it wont let me....this whole thing is just too darn confusing......thanks

Ok so you are having issues uninstalling classic shell. Try downloading the installer for the version you originally had:
http://www.classicshell.net/downloads/ run it; and select repair If that fixes your problem then you can stop here
otherwise run the installer again select uninstall

Then download the latest version: http://www.classicshell.net/
and install it.

Hi,
I just tried those two web sites and once again it went to run and then it gave me the error message it was invalid or corrupt? thanks

One of the signatures used by the installer has expired. I will make a new installer shortly.
