Hello I installed Classic Shell 3 months ago it worked fine, but recently lost the "up" button on the Explorer Bar. I uninstalled the Classic Shell, reinstalled it, but the "up" button has not appeared. Also when I install, this window appears:

Failed to register module C: \ Windows \ SysWOW64 \ StartMenuHelper32.dll HRESULT-2147024891. Contact your support personnel.

This error means "access denied". Unfortunately it is hard to know what is failing.
Choose Skip. If this is the only failed module, the only thing you are going to miss is the ability to Pin programs from inside 32-bit file browsers.
You can also try manually registering the DLL after the installation completes. Use this command from an administrative command prompt:

Most likely you are not using an administrative command prompt. Type "cmd" in the start menu, right-click on "cmd.exe" and select "Run as administrator".

The most likely something on your system has the wrong permissions. Use software like Process Monitor while running regsvr32 to see what paths are being accessed and to find out exactly which operation fails.

There is a "Subscribe topic" link at the top, just below the New Topic button. Not sure if it works though. I remember some months ago users didn't receive an email and then a flood of emails suddenly got sent all at once.
