Hey, I love classic menu and just have a suggestion:

Whenever you open and then close the start menu (without opening or clicking anything), the window focus should be restored to the application being used.

For example: Let's say I have firefox open and am using it. I then click on the start button to open the start menu but just close it back without opening any applications. Now the firefox window is not in focus anymore. So if I want to close a firefox tab by the shrotcut Ctrl+W, I have to first click on the firefox application to bring it back into focus before using the shortcut. It would be better if the window automatically came into focus upon closing start menu.

Interestingly, if I open the start menu by using my windows key and then close it (instead of using the mouse), the previous window is automatically bought back into focus. So it seems the issue is only when using the mouse to open the start menu.

Hope you keep up the great work on Classic Shell!

The behavior is the same for the Windows 7 start button (and probably earlier versions of Windows as well). The problem is that when you click on the button it gets activated and the information about what window was active before it is lost. With the keyboard I have the opportunity to catch the current window and restore it later.

This will be nice to have though if the menu can determine which was the previously focused window. It always bugged me that the focus remained on the Start button after clicking it.
