Is it possible to remove information about recently visited sites and pages from Internet Explorer submenu?

Thanks in advance

Press Ctrl+Shift+H in IE and choose "View by Order Visited Today" or "View by Date" and click current date to view recently visited websites.

Also, you can add recently visited websites to your Classic Start Menu by specifying:
shell:History

in the Link: field of a Custom command. IE does not allow adding custom shell folders so I guess that's not possible.
