I am wondering if Classic IE9 could implement pinned tabs like Google Chrome or Firefox do. Once a tab is pinned, it is always open in the browser, auto restored and cannot be closed. The concept is just like Favorites except that pinned tabs are auto loaded.

in order to have pinned tabs.. it would have to have tabs..

you may be looking for QTtabsBar: http://qttabbar.wdfiles.com/local--files/download/QTTabBar_128.zip

it gives windows explorer a tabbed interface and can lock the tabs

@Jcee, if I am not mistaken, he means Internet Explorer, not Windows Explorer. :)
