I'm running MSIE 11 (what a mistake), and I've noticed the style of the vertical scrollbar is flat.
The flat style is hard to see and use.

In MSIE 8, the style used to be 3D. The 3D style was very easy to see and use.

Is it possible to revert back to the 3D style of MSIE 8? The flat style is quite horrible.
Thanks.

You're not the only one who finds the IE10/11 scrollbar hard to use: see here and here.

I managed to create black horizontal and vertical scrollbars. Somewhat easier to find than the dim gray default ones, but they're still ugly flat blocks that blend in with the rest of the screen elements.

No doubt there are many others who'd prefer to be able to see the scrollbar at a glance instead of having to hunt for it.

It would be great if Classic IE were to offer a real, 3D scrollbar. How about it, gentlemen?

The flat style is quite atrocious.

Surely, there must be a way to hook into the OnDraw rendering function and replace with it a 3D style, if there's no way to customize it using a Registry hack.
