| Post subject: | Not seeing thumbnails |
Why are there no thumbnails for my picture files? They were fine before I installed Classic Shell. Is there something I'm supposed to be doing here? Also, there seems to be no way to access the menus that used to be at the top of Explorer. Everything is gone except for the address bar, the search bar, and some links like "organize" and "new folder". No drop-downs, no menus, no "ribbon", nothing. How do I access anything? I'm using Windows 7, by the way. |

Classic Shell does not affect Explorer thumbnails in any way. To verify that, you can try uninstalling Classic Shell temporarily. Press F10 or Alt key to show the menu bar. From Tools menu -> Folder Options -> View tab, you can check "Always show menus". Also uncheck "Always show icons, never thumbnails" and see if your thumbnail issue is fixed. |
