Hello, I use Windows 7 with Classic start menu and explorer. The horizontal scroll bar used to be in explorer with the setting in the Classic Explorer. However, this morning I noticed that it is now missing. I tried removing it in Classic Explorer, and then applying it again, but still missing. is there some other criteria? Thanks |

Btw, the horizontal scroll bar will only show if the Explorer navigation pane is narrow enough that it is unable to show the full folder name. |

Attached is a screenshot of my explorer. Yes I realise that the folder pane needs to be narrower than the text to show the horizontal scroll bars. Thanks Edit: Just noticed, when I try to horizontal scroll with the mouse (2 fingers left or right), the folders pane does not move. The file pane works fine.

Found the problem. In Internet Options\Programs\Manage Add-ons the Classic Explorer Bar was disabled. Just had to enable it and after re-launching explorer the horizontal scroll bar appeared. |
