Hi... I'm considering installing ClassicShell but I'm using Office 365 Home Premium and can find very little online about the stability of 365 when used with ClassicShell. Since the forced upgrades from 365 randomly change my desktop, and goodness knows what else, much as I'm desperate for a sensible, undumbed-down operating system, the prospect, each time 365 forces an upgrade, of having issues to resolve is more than I want to contemplate. Before I commit myself, can anyone out there comment?

In hopeful anticipation (especially that someone will say 'go for it' ... the pleasure far exceeds the pain)

Janey.... in Cape Town

Classic Shell should not interfere with other programs. It is like a regular app and it doesn't modify or patch Windows system files or settings in a harmful way. You can uninstall it to leave your system like the way it was before. It only adds a Start Menu and Explorer functionality to Windows.

So Office 365 or any other program compatibility should be a non-issue.
