Starting with Windows Vista Microsoft removed the ability to hide the address bar.

In Windows 7 the address bar takes a lot of vertical space and totally useless. Currently Classic Shell can make some customizations to the Address Bar (hide the search field, add the up-level button), but there is no possibility to hide the address bar totally. Can this feature be implemented please?

Yes it would be a great idea for making a custom theme i disabled the folderband crap already with reshacker but getting rid of the adress bar and its ugly buttons maybe add a small adressbar at the menubar (if that's even possible) getting a more compact view
