I see there's an option to create a custom button & I can choose newFolder as the command, but is it possible to specify the name of the new folder? I’d like to create the folder with today’s date YYYY-MM-DD. If not I’d like to submit this as a feature request.
thx, Barry

1. Go to Control Panel -> Region & Language/Region. Click Additional Settings, go to the Date tab and change the short date format to YYYY-MM-DD. 2. In Classic Explorer Settings, add a custom button and in its command field type this: cmd /c md "%date%"
Give it a label "New folder" or tooltip if you want. 3. Click OK in both dialogs to save settings and close Classic Explorer settings. Reopen the Explorer window. Now clicking this new folder button every time will give you a folder of the current date in the YYYY-MM-DD format.

That's a pretty cool trick, thanks. I'm guessing there's no way to select/highlight the folder after it's been created...?
