With the Classic Explorer is it possible to customise it so the START and taskbar are on the left or right side of the screen instead of at the bottom? For me this is desirable as I need to use the full height of the screen for my TN3270 application .......Thanks, Dave |

Classic Shell only adds the Start button+menu to the Taskbar. Yes, you can unlock the taskbar by right clicking it and then move it to any side of the screen you want - Windows allows that natively. The Start button will be placed on it by Classic Shell appropriately. The Start Menu also has a nice setting to "Show next to the taskbar (when the taskbar is vertical)" so that it does not cover the Taskbar. |
