It was the Internet Explorer (which I don't use) Tools -> Manage Add-ons. All fixed.

After upgrading to 3.9.1 beta & 3.9.3 beta I find that I no longer have a classic explorer toolbar despite all attempts to make it show up. I can access classic explorer settings through start -> all programs -> classic shell. Also noted that the beta downloads were about half the size of the 3.6.8 downloads. Any ideas out there? Bob |

Did you try all the steps here? http://www.classicshell.net/faq/#explorer_toolbar There is not much different in Classic Explorer between versions 3.6.x and 3.9.x. The major differences are for the start menu. The installer is half the size because it uses better compression. |
