Hi,

I've spent the afternoon getting Windows 7 to look more like XP, and well I can only congratulate Classic Shell for the excellent job.

I have been looking at a way to remove those Libraries and Favorites from the explorer navigation pane (like someone is saying here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=916 ). I found registry hacks that seem unstable, and after some more searching, discovered a little program on a german website: WENPCFG and thought I'd share. The link is at the end of this page, the pdf is in english: http://www.s-inn.de/blog/post/remove-Li ... -pane.aspx

It seems to look good so far. Anyone else tried it? Any stability or display issue?

You can also use Winaero's "This PC Tweaker" to hide items from navigation pane: http://winaero.com/comment.php?comment.news.213

I removed Favourites and Libraries using:

I've not had a problem with these registry changes. Are these the same as those you found?
Hope this helps,

Regards,
