I just picked up an ASUS T100TA (tablet laptop "transformer"). I'm financially limited (which is why I could only donate $15 for this AWESOME program), and find Win 8 in laptop mode atrocious. However, when I take the sceen off and go to tablet mode, I'd really like to have an easy way (or a way at all) to switch between Classic Shell Win 7 and Win 8.1.

If there is one already, I apologize, but I could not find it in searching the forums or reading the FAQ.

If there isn't one yet, I know this post should go in the Feature Requests section, but if there is any way I could switch between Win 7 and Win 8.1 (even if it requires several steps, short of uninstalling and reinstalling Classic Shell) I'd be VERY grateful if someone could point out to me how to do that.

This program is essential for anyone who has a laptop/pc that came with Win 8.1 (or 8) pre-installed and wants to keep up with their productivity / usage abilities. I'm just hoping there is an easy way to switch between the 2 OS' for those of us with the newer laptop/tablet (lapet? tabtop?) devices.

Thanks for any and all help,

DaS

You can press Shift+Win key to toggle between the Start screen and the Desktop. You can also Shift+left click on the Start button to do the same. Plus, there is a link inside the Start Menu that will take you to the Start screen, and a Desktop tile on the Start screen to bring you back.

Right click on the Start button, check "Show all settings" and go to the Controls tab. There you can configure which keys and mouse buttons are used to open what.
