What do you mean "isn't shadowed"? Are you referring to the gradient in the Start Menu right column or the entire menu's shadow? :) And what does "making it Aero style" mean?

You can choose the Aero skin or one of the Glass skins. They are transparent. And by "transparent" I mean "you can see through them".

But is there possibly i usually use last image saved or last app downloaded, when i click on Pictures or Downloads, files are sorted A-Z, can they be sorted with "Last modified" ?

Yes that is a Windows Explorer function. Not something that Classic Shell modifies. Open the folder where you want to sort and just right click in an empty area, choose Sort By, click More and check 'Date modified' in the long list there.

To make sorting easier, you can also open Classic Explorer settings from the Start menu, enable All Settings, go to its "File Pane" tab and check the option "Show sort headers in all views". This will show the columns at the top of your folders regardless of your Explorer view.

In the Start Menu -> Programs -> Classic Shell -> open Classic Explorer settings. Then enable All settings. Go to the "File Pane" tab.
