| Post subject: | Version 3.6.8 fails to autostart |
I had no trouble with 3.6.7 but this version will start OK when I re-start Windows but not from a cold boot. For now I have added a copy of ClassicStartMenu.exe to the Start-up folder, but that shouldn't be necessary. Any suggestions as to how to get this version to work properly? Thanks |

Check in Services.msc if the Classic Shell service is set to "Automatic" and is running. In the next major version 4.0 (3.9.0 which is in beta), Ivo has reworked the way it starts so it no longer depends on the service and should hopefully start more reliably. |

The shell service is set to 'Automatic'. I'll revert to the older version. |
