Hello All I have a school district I work with that has deployed several hundred Win10 1703 builds with Classic Shell 4.3.0. It was installed with the ClassicShell start menu only option. We are experiencing issues where sporadically the students try to click on the Start button and no response meaning no menu appears. If they press the Windows button on the bottom left of the keyboard or if you run task manager and restart either explorer or ClassShell it is active again. The odd thing is I have about 30 other school districts using ClassicShell with no issues, so does not appear to be a general issue. If we remove CS then all is good, but the school really wants to keep it. We have tried multiple items. 1 - Changed regkey to run Explorer in different memory space 2 - Installed CS 4.3.1 3 - Uninstalled potential conflicting apps - ones the other districts were not using 4 - Changed a handful of group policies that other districts were not using. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Are any of the user accounts standard users (non-admins)? |
