| Post subject: | latest windows 10 pro update and CSM |
how do I get the latest version of classic start menu to work with the latest windows 10 pro update, I have downloaded the latest version of CSM, and uninstalled the old version but it does not seem to work, I even tried to rename the CSM file name, but I am still getting the crappy windows start menu tiles. Thank You. |

Maybe Tablet Mode got turned on in your Windows 10. Press Win+A keys together to show the Action Center. Turn off "Tablet Mode" from there. Also, to make sure only Classic Shell's menu is set to open, right click the Start button -> Settings. Check "Show all settings" at the top. Go to the Controls tab and set "Left click opens" and "Windows Key opens" to Classic Start Menu. Then make sure "Start automatically for this user" is turned on the General Behavior tab. |
