Hello, I hope I'm in the right place for this. I just installed classic shell on my new win 10 machine (UGH HATE IT) and I'm trying to get it set up like my windows 7 machine. On my windows 7 machine, I have remote desktop connection pinned to the start menu. When I hover over it, it expands a list of all the previous clients I've connected to. How can I get classic shell to do this?

Thanks in advance! :)

Just pin the shortcut and over time, Windows will add to its jumplist the previous clients you've connected it to.

Make sure jumplists are on in Windows. Open Settings app -> Personalization -> Start.

Enable the option 'Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or the taskbar'.

If the Taskbar jumplist (right click) shows them, then the pinned RDP shortcut in the Start menu should also show them.
