I had Classic Shell installed by a Dell tech when I purchased my laptop. Just recently the Classic Shell feature is gone from screen. I tried to download it without any luck. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if it's a problem with the download. I just can't get the program to run like it did when it was installed. Is there a help line phone number?

Try uninstalling the current version from the Control Panel. Then restart, and then run the installer for the new version.

Control Panel -> Programs and Features will have Classic Shell listed. Uninstall it.

Download the newest installer from www.classicshell.net/downloads/latest and finish it.

Ok - I re-installed and I can tell that the program is there. I would like to seed the classic desktop view with all of my files etc. How do I get to that screen. It flashes occasionally but goes back to the Windows 10 screen.

You probably have turned on Tablet Mode. Press Win+A and uncheck "Tablet mode" at the bottom.
