Environment Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, version 1607 14393.1066, 64 bits Classic Shell 4.3.0 Some (but not all) executable icons just disappeared. I've deleted the DataCache.db file as Gaurav suggested in this thread: http://classicshell.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5095 but to no avail. Any ideas?

Are you sure the start menu was shut down while you deleted the cache file? |

Following your advice I executed ClassicStartMenu -exit and used Process Explorer (from SysInternals/MS) to verify Classic Start Menu wasn't running anymore then deleted the DataCache.db file. The outcome was... well... curious: Now ALL the icons were missing. I saved my settings and decided to uninstall Classic Shell. Rebooted and reinstalled it. Everything seems to be working fine now. I don't know why. Thanks for your time.
