Left click on the start menu button and all I see is 10 items. I opened the Option of Classic Start Menu. And I increased the jump list to 18. I assume that was not it since I saw no change. I then Increased the length of the start menu thinking if it had more space it would increase the amount shown there and though it did get longer the apps shown is still 10 (+1 on top).
What did I do wrong or not do?

P.S. BTW my taskbar only shows 1 item if I R-click on it and it should show more, shouldn't it?

In the search box of the Settings window, type: max. Change "Max recent programs" value as needed.
