| Post subject: | Lost my Modern IE |
I installed Classic Shell on my MS Surface Pro. Everything is great except one thing - when I am using the Surface as a tablet, I want to use the Modern/Metro version of IE, but even from the start tiles I always get the desktop version. Any ideas? I searched for iexplorer.exe on drive C: but they all seem the same. |

Modern IE can only be used in Windows 8 if Internet Explorer is the default browser. If you have set any other browser as the default, Modern IE can't be used. Go to Control Panel -> Default Programs and set Internet Explorer as the default. |
