Yesterday I got up and turned on my laptop with Win10 installed. After about an hour of downloading, installing, rebooting, downloading, installing, rebooting, finally it came up to my logon and after logging in, repeated the performance. Finally, logged on, I discover that my wonderful, favorite, lovely Classic Shell start menu was gone and in it's place the morbid win10 one back installed. So I clicked on Classic Shell and was rewarded with the following statement:
/* The app you're trying to use was blocked from opening because it might damage your PC or result in loss of data. This is because some apps that worked with a previous version of Windows might not work in the same way with Windows 10. Go to the support website for the app developer, and check if a new or updated version of this app is available for Windows 10. */
'Might not Work?' Well it's been working fine for the last six months!
Perhaps someone could give me a hand to see if I can get it back up and working. Thanks
FritzB PS: I was thinking of converting my double monitor desktop from win7 but now I'm not so sure.
