My
recently opened item list is 5 items long. Can I change that number?

In Classic Start Menu settings, enable All Settings radio button at the bottom. Then on the Special Items tab, there is a setting "Max recent programs". Change its value from 5 to whatever you want. You can also enter negative values meaning the order will be reversed.
