Hi
Thanks to your discussions here I could solve my problem with missing CS after the latest Windows Update (Anniversary).

However, after having uninstalled CS using the offered utility and reinstalled it, I have a new, though smaller problem:
At the right of some menu items, Classic start menu shows little pointers showing to the right. This happens so far with the following programs:

Thunderbird
Firefox
MyPhoneExplorer (Calender, notes, contacts etc.etc.)
Altap Salamander (File manager)

When I hit the character T for Thunderbird, it does not open the program as before, but - as explained - shows this additional pointer.
To enter the program without choosing, I need to hit Enter once more. That was not necessary before, because there was no such additional pointer.

By the way: Clicking the pointer opens an additional choice: a) start new message and b) open address book. I never use this feature.

NOW: Is there any way I can get Classic Startmenu to NOT show these pointers for singular programs? ... but keep them for folders, of course.

Thanks a lot for your help

Go to the Main Menu tab in the settings and uncheck "Enable jumplists".
