When I started using the app a few weeks ago, I made that happen constantly with imprecise mousing.
After clicking on the Start button, I'd let the cursor drift up and it would open Apps or Programs. Which would cover the Shutdown button.

Every now and again the shutdown button on classic start menu will disappear; I can get it back if I switch to a different style for the start menu but it is a little disconcerting since my favorite option is to just hibernate my laptop quickly. Running under Windows 10 and generally start menu classic works terrifically. thanks for any suggestions bob |

Cascading menus do cover the Shutdown button (in fact the entire right column) if you are using them. |
