It appears that Classic Shell uses the windows xp icons in the classic shell start menu in classic skin mode. I want to use the icons from windows 2000 (which I have) So I was wondering how do I change the icons in the classic shell start menu like run, search, settings, programs, log off, shut down etc.?

Go to the Customize Start Menu tab in the settings and change the double-click on the items in the left column you want to change. Then edit the icon and the text as you wish.

Thank you so much. I spent the last 3-4 hours trying all sorts of stuff when it was right under my nose.
